Unison™, World's First Fully-Unified Communications Solution, to Launch at CeBIT 2008

February 26, 2008 – New York, NY – Revolutionary Linux-based Software Available for Beta Download March 4th

CeBIT 2008Hall 5, Booth F52

Unison™ (www.unison.com) will launch a beta version at CeBIT 2008 and create a new category of software the fully-unified communications system.

Unison combines telephony, email, instant messaging and collaboration into a single unified product, both on the Linux back end for administrators and on the Windows® desktop for users. According to a study by Sage Research, unified communications can increase productivity by over 12.5% for companies that adopt it – or over one hour per day for each worker.

Rather than spending $40,000 or more on a separate PBX telephone system and email server, the 67 million small and medium businesses (SMBs) that IDC identifies worldwide can now simply deploy Unison instead, with cost savings above 85% as well as higher productivity for their staff.

Unison will improve and simplify the way people work together within enterprises, said Michael Choupak, CEO of Unison Technologies, the creator of Unison. After several years of development, the Unison team has delivered a product that works as a fully-unified system out of the box. There is no need to integrate Unison with a third-party PBX or other server, because it simply works, immediately, with all communication features included and unified. We expect Unison to improve global productivity as millions of business users upgrade over the coming years.

With Unison Server, which runs on Linux, companies no longer need to deploy a PBX and telephone system, or an email and instant messaging server, as all of these features are built into Unison. In effect, a companys entire communication system can run off a single Linux server. This reduces deployment costs as well as ongoing maintenance.

Users get Unison Desktop, a single application for all their communications. It combines not only email, contacts and calendars, but also telephony, instant messaging and Unison Intelligent Presence real-time free/busy status based on a users current activity. All messages, chats and voicemail are accessible and searchable and all conversations take place within this application.

Rurik Bradbury, chief marketing officer, said, This is a very important product for the Linux world. With Unison, the Linux community has a world-beating unified communications solution that is superior in every respect to current offerings truly unified, faster, better-featured, more reliable and more affordable. Companies that adopt Unison will gain a clear and immediate competitive advantage.

The Unison Beta will be available for download beginning March 4, the opening of the CeBIT 2008 expo. To learn more about Unison, visit www.unison.com.
