Unison™ Announces Pricing and Partner Program

Challenger to Microsoft unified communications to offer aggressive pricing and margins for VARs. Solution will bring significant revenues to resellers who install email server and PBX systems.

New York, NY – July 1, 2008 – Unison Technologies (www.unison.com) has announced its partner program and pricing for resellers worldwide. The unified communications software, Unison™, will have a manufacturer's suggested retail price of $50 per user per year. There will also be a perpetual license option at a per-server price of $36,000, without any user limits.

Unison, which competes with PBX vendors such as Cisco and e-mail vendors such as Microsoft, will offer resellers far greater margins than those two companies, with commissions that scale up to 50%. VARs who previously sold traditional PBX solutions or legacy e-mail products will be able to increase profits with Unison, while simultaneously reducing costs for customers and upgrading them to unified communications.

"Unison will be the perfect product for thousands of VARs," said Rurik Bradbury, chief marketing officer for Unison Technologies. "It is easier to deploy, cheaper and more powerful than non-unified PBX and e-mail systems, so VARs will be able to increase sales. At the same time, the margins for selling Unison are high, so these higher sales will also be very profitable."

There is no cost to join the reseller program, which is available at www.unison.com/partners. Full details of commissions and schedules will be available to all partners registering for the program at the Unison Web site.

Unison combines a PBX system, e-mail server, instant messaging server, contacts and calendar into a single server and desktop client. This means that small and midsized businesses (SMBs) no longer need to buy separate and expensive non-unified servers or PBX systems - one single Unison server can handle communications for an entire company. By deploying Unison, the IT department reduces cost and maintenance by as much as 80%, while end users become more productive thanks to unified communications - gaining as much as one hour of productivity per day, according to a study by Sage Research.

Currently in beta until the third quarter of 2008, Unison is available to test for free. To download the beta versions of Unison Server and Unison Desktop, along with supporting documentation, go to www.unison.com/download. Unison Technologies also offers managed demo servers, which allow people to download the Unison Desktop client and try the Unison system with a free test account.
