Updated unified communications platform adds encryption, group IM and social address book
October 14, 2009 – New York – Unison Technologies announced the general availability of Unison version 2.0. Available in both a free and paid version, Unison includes a Linux-based server, Unison Server, and a Windows or Linux-based desktop client, Unison Desktop.
Together, the server and client provide a complete unified communications solution, including e-mail, instant messaging, telephony and PBX features, calendaring and contacts – all in a single interface.
New features in version 2.0 include group instant messaging, encrypted telephone calls, custom status updates, social address book and many more.
