Unison™ makes communications unified

Unison replaces your old e-mail and IM servers, and your PBX or telephone system with a unified alternative.

What is Unison

How Unison works

Unison is software that you install on one Linux server, Unison Server™. That server replaces several systems – PBX, e-mail, instant messaging, directory – with a single Unison system. It also comes with a native desktop client for Windows or Linux, Unison Desktop. See how Unison works or see Unison in action.

Unison Server™ stores and processes all commmunication. Unison Desktop™ client gives users email, instant messaging, telephone and collaboration.

Unison Server runs on Linux and replaces both your email server (eg Microsoft Exchange) and your PBX simultaneously. This one server handles all business communication and is managed by the IT administrator.

Unison Desktop is a Windows® or Linux (Ubuntu) desktop client. It gives users email, instant messaging, telephony and groupware – all in one application.

Because Unison has an intelligent PBX built in, it also drives the IP telephone on each user's desktop. Here is a side-by-side overview of our Linux server and our Windows/Linux desktop clients:

Compare Unison with other solutions
