Unison Control Panel™

Unison gives IT administrators total control of all company communications – including telephone, e-mail, instant messaging and directory – from a simple, Web-based control panel. Instead of struggling with multiple, complex admin interfaces for email and other servers plus a separate PBX, Unison Control Panel™ gives you a single place to manage your business communications.

Unison Control Panel (UCP) allows both remote monitoring and control of Unison as well as user rights, configuration and system preferences. It allows the Unison administrator to:

  • Manage Unison services (including e-mail, telephone/PBX, instant messaging, calendar and more)
  • View system usage statistics and system logs
  • View and modify server configuration information
  • Start and stop Unison server components

Because Unison also contains your company directory, UCP also allows an administrator to manage:

  • Directory objects and organization structure
  • Domain names for the organization or for individual departments
  • Mailboxes, distribution lists and mailbox aliases
  • Phone and extension numbers
  • Information about call origination and termination providers (ie your telephone company)
  • Telephones assigned to people and their departments
  • Automatic call distribution (ACD) rules for how calls should be directed and handled
  • User accounts and their access permissions
  • Voice menus and hunt groups
  • Contact information at organization, department and personal levels
