- Comparative estimated monthly payments are based on an internal analysis and review through April, 2025 of interest rates from 3 other leading second-lien home equity loan providers, which are averaged and applied to a 10-year amortized mortgage loan term.
- This amount is an estimated value of the equity you can access from your home and it is based on our assessment of automated valuation models (AVMs) and other valuation tools. An independent third party appraiser will determine the starting value of your home, which will impact the loan amount available. Loan minimum is currently $30,000 in AZ, CO, FL, NE, NJ, NV, UT and $50,000 in OR and may be subject to change.

- Unison share in the home's future appreciation is fixed at the beginning of the agreement, and the amount is proportional to the amount of your Equity Sharing Home Loan. Unison's share is typically 1.5x the percentage you borrow. For example, if you borrow 10% of your home’s current value, Unison will receive 15% of the future appreciation. Note that unlike Unison's Equity Sharing Agreement, Unison only participates in any appreciation in your home's value, and shared appreciation may affect your overall loan cost.
- The total interest payable under the Loan, including ongoing interest, deferred interest, and shared appreciation interest, if any, will not exceed a predetermined percentage that is set in the agreement (at or below state interest rate limits).
