The example X.XXX% interest rate (X.XXX% APR) is based on a $100,000 loan amount with a 10-year term and assumes an 780+ credit score, a 50% combined loan-to-value (CLTV) ratio, and a 40% debt-to-income (DTI) ratio. This rate is current as of DD/MM/YYYY and subject to change. The example APR includes interest and estimated closing fees but excludes shared appreciation costs, which requires sharing a portion of your home's value increase when you sell or at loan maturity. At termination, any remaining principal and the shared appreciation component is due in a lump-sum balloon payment. No penalty applies to early repayment. Your actual terms will vary based on your credit, income, loan amount, and market conditions. See our frequently asked questions for more details.

Comparative estimated monthly payments are based on an internal analysis and review through <Month YYYY> of interest rates from 3 other leading second-lien home equity loan providers, which are averaged and applied to a 10-year amortized mortgage loan term. Monthly payments to Unison do not cover the original loan balance or the additional cost associated with shared appreciation due at termination.
  3. Unison’s share in the home's future appreciation is fixed at the beginning of the agreement, and the amount is proportional to the amount of your Equity Sharing Home Loan. Unison's share is typically 1.5x the percentage you borrow. For example, if you borrow 10% of your home’s current value, Unison will receive 15% of the future growth in value. Note that unlike Unison's Equity Sharing Agreement, Unison only participates in any appreciation in your home's value.
